Armira, a European investment holding specialising in partnerships with entrepreneur-led and family-owned businesses, has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in group tour operator Viabus. The transaction is subject to approval by the relevant competition authorities and is expected to complete in Q1 2026.
Viabus includes brands such as Bolderman, effeweg, Destimundo, Diogenes Groups & Incentive Travel, and Van Nood Reizen in its offering.
Armira’s investment will support the company and its shareholders with accelerating its long-term growth strategy, including organic expansion and selective strategic initiatives, which is said to be a top priority for Founder Teus Bolderman and co-shareholder Rotrip. Founder Teus Bolderman and Rotrip will remain actively involved in the business and will reinvest alongside Armira.
Viabus will continue to be led by its existing senior management team under CEO Teus Bolderman, CCO Onno Hosman, and CFO Jorrit Boelhouwer.
The partnership with Armira is intended to support further professionalisation of the organisation, including continued investment in digital capabilities and the selective international expansion of its travel offering over time.
Beyond capital, Armira has expertise in areas such as digitalisation, internationalisation, and organisational development, creating opportunities to strengthen Viabus’s service offering and extend its reach.
