Cédric Lalain has joined Artemid as a Partner. Since 2017, Lalain worked as Head of Fixed Income at Assurances Crédit Mutuel and now joins the team which advises funds from the Artemid range.
These funds provide senior financing solutions, with maturities between five and seven years to European SME and mid-cap companies, both listed and unlisted.

Lalain began his career in 2001 working as a financial controller, then later a project manager in the Caisse des Dépôts Group’s Finance department. In 2008, he started working as a Basel II Risk Analyst in the group’s Risk Management department. He joined Assurances du Crédit Mutuel in 2010 as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager in the Investments department. In 2012, he became Head of Credit Investment and FI Strategy and developed Private Debt investment activity. In January 2017, he was named Head of Fixed Income.
Lalain trained as an engineer at the École Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Brest and also holds both a Master’s Degree in Finance from ESCP Europe and CFA charter.
