Ashurst LLP advises ACG Private Equity and Vivéris Holding on the acquisition of Vivéris Management

Ashurst LLP has advised ACG Private Equity and Vivéris Holding on the acquisition of 95% of the shares in Vivéris Management by Vivéris Holding from Caisse d’Epargne Provence Alpes Corse and Financière Mirabel.

Founded in 2000, Vivéris Management is one of the leading French private equity management companies having developed a multi-regional approach targeting private SMEs. Benefiting from an investment team acting in France, in the French Overseas Territories and in the Mediterranean region (Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey), Vivéris Management acts for companies, managers and potential bidders at all stages of their development and on the main areas of the private equity market: regional or national technology venture capital, venture capital, growth capital and LBO with regards to minority or majority investments. Vivéris Management manages 40 investment vehicles including listed funds (FCPI, FIP, ISF Holdings) as well as qualified investor funds (French FCPRs) and its portfolio holds 134 companies. It has raised EUR569m of private equity funds since it was founded and employs 48 experienced professionals.

The deal value has not been made public.

Ashurst LLP advised ACG Private Equity and Vivéris Holding on this transaction with partner Xavier Comaills (pictured), counsel Franck Coudert and associates Delphine Guérin, Isaure Sander and Marie Preat on the corporate and funds aspects, as well as counsel Amanda Bevan and associates Thomas de Mortemart and Ariane Alam on the banking aspects.

Herbert Smith (Régis Oréal, Cyril Deniaud) advised the sellers Caisse d’Epargne Provence Alpes Corse and Sarrau Thomas Coudert (Frédéric Bucher, Christine Le Breton) advised the sellers Financière Mirabel.
The financing banks  (Caisse d’Epargne) were advised by the law firm Frieh Bouhenic with partner Maud Manon, and associates Nicolas Com-Nougué and Benjamin Marché.
