Auerbach Grayson & Company (Auerbach Grayson), a New York-based global brokerage firm and investment bank, has appointed Alina Sychova as Executive Director of Capital Markets and Cross-border M&A, bolstering the firm’s coverage and expertise across the investment banking sector.
Sychova brings more than 23 years of experience in investment banking to her new role at Auerbach Grayson. Prior to joining the firm, she served as Managing Director, Head of Capital Markets Origination at Sova Capital Limited, where she was responsible for the origination and execution of public capital markets transactions across both debt and equity products, as well as special situations including liability management and buybacks. Prior to that role, Ms. Sychova held numerous senior positions within equity capital markets at both Gazprombank where she served as Managing Director, Head of ECM and at Citibank, serving as Director, Head of ECM Origination Russia & CIS.
Sychova joins Nikhil Bhatnagar, who was recently promoted to Executive Director of Capital Markets at Auerbach Grayson. Bhatnagar joined the firm in 2013 and has nearly 14 years of experience in global capital markets with a focus on emerging markets. Throughout his tenure, he has worked with a range of emerging market corporates across the capital structure. Previously, Bhatnagar has led Auerbach Grayson’s Asia sales team, helping to build some of the longest standing relationships within the AGCO partner network.
