Augentius Fund Administration, a specialist provider of fund administration services to the private equity and property fund sectors, has appointed Ian Kelly as a partner to the firm.
Augentius Fund Administration, a specialist provider of fund administration services to the private equity and property fund sectors, has appointed Ian Kelly as a partner to the firm.
Kelly joined Augentius in August 2002 as a senior fund accountant.
He was appointed as chief operating officer, Europe in 2006 following the MBO of the business.
‘We only had a few clients when I joined the business and a total staff of seven and just a few years later we have over 50 clients, 110 staff and are expanding the business globally,’ says Kelly. ‘It is an amazing story, and the result of many years of hard work, but one I am very proud of.’
JP Harrop, managing partner, adds: ‘Ian has made a very substantial contribution to the business. He has seen the business grow from a ‘good idea’ into an international business. Ian has grown with Augentius and developed from his initial role into someone who is a recognised leader within the firm’.
