August Equity, a leading UK private equity investor focused on the lower mid-market, has made five promotions, following a year of significant growth after the successful close of its £350 million Fund VI at the end of 2025.
The promotions include the addition of two new partners to the firm’s senior leadership team – its first since 2023. More widely, the moves reflect the personal development of five key individuals who have consistently demonstrated exceptional performance and growth in their respective roles.
Long-standing Directors, Katie Ballardie and Greg Walsh have promoted to partners, while Celine Spencer, winner of the 2025 Education Investor of the Year award, has been promoted from Manager to Director.
Ollie Reynolds meanwhile, has been made Associate Director from Manage, while Harry Caro has been promoted from Associate to Manager.
In addition to these promotions, Daniel Venn has been appointed COO of the business, reflecting his broader responsibilities and the institutionalised nature of the platform.
