AXON Partners, a placement agent for private equity and real estate funds and advisor on secondary transactions, has appointed Mark Engler as a partner in the firm’s office in Zug, Switzerland.
Englert was previously Portfolio Manager – Private Assets at Unigestion, a Geneva‐headquartered asset manager with USD 17 billion of assets under management. At Unigestion, Mark led client services in the DACH region and the Nordics. His responsibilities included sourcing mandate and fund investors as well as leading sales efforts and new product proposals in the field of private assets. Prior to working at Unigestion, Mark spent more than eight years at SCM Strategic Capital Management, a leading provider of capital for private market fund investments. At SCM, he was Head of Client Portfolio Services and also Head of SCM Asia responsible for SCM’s investment activities in Asia Pacific and for building up the firm’s local office in Hong Kong. Mark brings 13 years of relevant private assets’ experience.
