Baird Private Equity names Pan managing partner

Gordon Pan has been named as a managing partner of Baird Private Equity. Pan succeeds Paul Carbone, who recently joined the Pritzker Group.

Pan has more than 20 years of finance and private equity experience, including the past seven years as a Partner with Baird Capital Partners and, before that, three years as a partner with Baird Venture Partners. He also has been very active in the development and management of Baird Private Equity’s Asia capabilities.

Prior to Baird, Pan served as a principal with One Equity Partners. He was also founder and CEO of an international consulting firm specializing in assisting the portfolio companies of private equity firms establish strategic alliances in China.

In addition, Scott Skie, who had been serving as Baird Private Equity’s Chief Administrative Officer since 2005, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Aaron Rudberg, who joined Baird Private Equity in 2008, has been promoted to Partner of BPE, continuing in his role as Baird Private Equity’s director of investor relations, marketing and business development.
