Private investment firm BayPine has strengthened its leadership team with two senior appointments – Cory A Eaves as Partner and Head of Portfolio Operations, and Jim Currier as Partner and Chief Financial Officer.
Eaves will lead BayPine’s digital transformation and portfolio operations team, with a focus on driving digital transformation initiatives within the firm and its portfolio companies.
Currier meanwhile, is a seasoned finance professional in the private equity industry and will lead team soy deliver fine coal reporting and operations.
Prior to joining BayPine, Eaves was one of the first Operating Partners at General Atlantic, where he helped build and scale their portfolio value-add capability for nearly 15 years. Before joining General Atlantic, he was Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer, and Chief Information Officer at Misys plc, a global provider of software and services to the healthcare and financial services industries. Earlier in his career, he also served as Chief Technology Officer of SSA Global, one of the world’s largest enterprise software providers, and held various other technology leadership positions.
Prior to joining BayPine, Currier served as a Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer for Audax Private Equity, where he was responsible for financial reporting, valuations and administration of Audax Group’s private equity funds and the financial operations of the private equity business. Before joining Audax, he was a Vice President, Finance, at General Atlantic and previously served as Controller at Bessemer Venture Partners. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
