BB Capital Investments has launched its Infrastructure Fund, an evergreen fund of funds focused on infrastructure, marking the fourth asset class – alongside private equity, private credit, and impact investing – within its private markets platform.
With this expansion, the Hague-based investment firm aligns its offerings and diversification options with the major European players in private markets investing.
The launch of the new fund of funds is made possible in part by the acquisition of Van Lawick Capital, a specialised fund manager in the infrastructure sector.
Van Lawick Capital currently manages three closed-end infrastructure funds with a total volume of approximately €200m. Managing Partner Marc Tesink joins BB Capital as a Partner.
The acquisition of Van Lawick Capital is part of BB Capital’s broader growth strategy. Following the successful launch of the BB Capital Private Credit Fund and the BB Capital NextGen Fund in 2024, the launch of the BB Capital Infrastructure Fund marks further expansion of the private markets platform.
BB Capital remains true to its mission since launching its Private Equity Fund in 2018: to provide high-quality access to private markets for individual investors, family offices, and wealth managers.
BB Capital Investments is a Hague-based investment firm and an AFM-registered fund manager. As a private markets investment manager combining direct investments and fund of funds strategies, BB Capital manages the private markets portfolio of more than 400 investors with assets totaling approximately €500m.
