BGF successfully exited its investment in Sentric Music Group as the music publisher becomes the foundation of Swiss music fintech company, Utopia Music’s new Royalty Management Services business.
BGF – the UK’s most active growth capital investor – backed Sentric in 2017 with a GBP3 million investment, subsequently investing a GBP5.5 million follow-on.
As part of the deal, Sentric CEO, Chris Meehan, will take the role of Vice President at the newly formed Royalty Management Services business, and will continue to service Sentric’s existing customer base as part of Utopia.
