Bill Tice joins Vida Capital as head of marketing and investor relations

Asset management firm Vida Capital has named Bill Tice as senior managing director, head of marketing and investor relations.

Tice joins Vida with 15 years of marketing and business development experience, most recently as a managing director at Siguler Guff & Company, an USD11 billion private equity firm based in New York.
At Siguler Guff, Tice had a primary focus on relationship management and fundraising in North America, Europe, and Latin America, with an emphasis on distressed and special situation investment strategies, real estate, and emerging markets.
Jeff Serra, founder and CEO of Vida Capital, says: “Bill is a transformational hire for the company. As we build upon our five years of managing investor capital in life settlements, his experience is perfectly aligned to help us reach new, larger audiences around the world. We couldn’t be more pleased to have Bill join Vida’s senior management team as we move to the next level of broadening our institutional capital base.”
At Vida, Tice will oversee all marketing, business development, and investor relations activities, and will focus on institutional clients interested in accessing the longevity asset class through hedge fund, private equity, and separately managed account vehicles.
Tice says: “The life settlement space is more attractive – and more strategic for investors – than it has ever been.  The risk-return and correlation dynamic are compelling and should be a consideration in portfolio structuring.  Vida’s record of acquiring, servicing, and managing these assets, is unparalleled. I’m thrilled to join the firm at such an exciting time, and help grow and expand our business efforts.”
Prior to Siguler Guff, Tice served in senior business development and investor relations roles at Q Investments, an alternative asset fund based in Ft. Worth, Texas, and The Park Hill Group, a division of The Blackstone Group and a global alternative asset placement agent.
