Blackstone Inc is providing dedicated three-year capital backing to The Fidelis Partnership’s newly established syndicate at Lloyd’s of London – “Syndicate 2126” – marking a strategic push into specialty underwriting, according to a report by Bloomberg.
Syndicate 2126 is targeted to write approximately $300m of gross written premiums (GWP) in 2026, with business lines spanning property, specialty and bespoke risks.
Blackstone will be responsible for the syndicate’s asset management, and will launch with a three year capacity from the investment firm. Blackstone headed up a $2bn private credit deal for Fidelis last year.
