Blue Wolf Capital appoints lead operating partner

Blue Wolf Capital Partners has appointed Anne Bailey as Lead Operating Partner, strengthening its senior leadership team as the private equity firm continues to focus on operational value creation across its healthcare and industrial portfolio.

Bailey, who joined Blue Wolf in 2024, will now lead the firm’s team of operating partners, working closely with portfolio company management teams to support operational improvements and drive investment performance. She succeeds George Judd, who has held the position since 2018 and will remain with the firm as an operating partner.

Bailey brings nearly three decades of leadership experience spanning healthcare, consumer products, aerospace and defence. During her time at Blue Wolf, she has worked with portfolio companies on strategic and operational initiatives aimed at accelerating growth and enhancing long-term value creation.

Commenting on the appointment, Blue Wolf managing partner Jeremy Kogler said Bailey had quickly established herself as a trusted adviser to both the firm’s investment professionals and portfolio company executives, citing her operational expertise and experience managing businesses through complex challenges.

Before joining Blue Wolf, Bailey served as president of Modivcare Home, where she led a business generating approximately $900 million in annual revenue and managed a workforce of more than 18,000 employees. Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership positions at DaVita and Bain & Company, advising organisations across the healthcare, consumer products and education sectors.

Bailey said her experience at Blue Wolf had demonstrated the benefits of the firm’s collaborative operating model and expressed her commitment to building on that approach in her expanded leadership role.

In addition to her executive experience, Bailey has served on the boards of several community and advocacy organisations, including the Chronic Disease Coalition, CU Denver Business School, City Year Denver, Amp the Cause and Access Opportunity.

Blue Wolf Capital specialises in middle-market private equity investments in the healthcare and industrial sectors, with a strategy centred on operational transformation and long-term value creation. The firm works alongside portfolio company management teams to improve performance through strategic, operational and organisational initiatives.
