Private equity firm Blue Wolf Capital Partners has promoted Anne Bailey to lead operating partner, strengthening its operational leadership as the firm continues to focus on value creation across its portfolio.
Bailey joins Blue Wolf’s senior leadership team after serving as an operating partner since 2024. In her new role, she will oversee the firm’s network of operating partners and work closely with portfolio company management teams to drive operational improvements and strategic initiatives across Blue Wolf’s healthcare and industrial investments.
She succeeds George Judd, who has held the position since 2018 and will remain with the firm as an operating partner.
The appointment reflects the increasing emphasis private equity firms are placing on operational expertise as a key driver of returns. Rather than relying solely on financial engineering, sponsors are continuing to expand their in-house operating capabilities to support revenue growth, efficiency improvements and strategic execution across portfolio companies.
Bailey brings nearly three decades of executive and operational experience across healthcare, consumer products, aerospace and defence. Before joining Blue Wolf, she served as president of Modivcare Home, where she led a workforce of more than 18,000 employees across a business generating approximately $900 million in annual revenue.
Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership roles at DaVita and management consultancy Bain & Company, advising organisations across healthcare, consumer products and education.
Blue Wolf specialises in middle-market investments in the healthcare and industrial sectors, where operational transformation forms a core element of its investment strategy. The promotion reinforces the firm’s focus on partnering with portfolio company management teams to improve performance and create long-term value.
