Accounting and advisory firm BPM has appointed James Su as Managing Director in the firm’s Real Estate Industry Group.
Su, who comes to BPM with more than 20 years of consulting experience in the real estate and construction industries and more than 15 years’ experience at the Big Four, will oversee the firm’s Cost Segregation Practice and advise on real estate tax and advisory projects.
The move marks the latest expansion to BPM’s growing real estate group. With skilled experts capable of providing accounting, tax and consulting services, the group represents a “one-stop shop” to those in the real estate industry or who deal with real estate-related issues. In addition to leading construction cost segregation studies, Su will leverage his technical expertise to advise on a variety of real estate projects, including purchase price allocation, depreciation optimisation, fixed asset accounting systems, valuation, insurance values and rehabilitation tax credits.
