Bryan, Garnier & Co, a pan-European investment bank focusing on growth companies, has appointed Gary Lilley as managing director of its European sales desk in New York.
With over 30 years of institutional equity sales experience in both London and New York, Lilley will take on the commercial follow-up of the US accounts, as well as help Bryan Garnier Securities to leverage its footprint within the institutional community.
Before joining Bryan Garnier Securities, Lilley managed the European sales desks at both UBS and Morgan Stanley, which he left in 2011 to become the head of sales at Nomura Securities.
Among his long established relationships are accounts such as American Century, TIAA-CREF, Lazard, Oppenheimer, Invesco and the United Nations Pension Fund.
Nicolas d’Halluin, managing partner of Bryan Garnier Securities in New York, says: “I am delighted to have Gary join us to help the distribution of our product in the US. The quality and the depth of his relationships within the US investor community will be a great asset for BG Securities.”
