Eneasz Kądziela has left the Bureau of Asset Management (BAM) – the organisation responsible for overseeing the investment portfolios of the five New York City retirement systems – where he served as Deputy CIO and Private Equity Asset Head.
According to a press statement, Kądziela, who has spent ten years at BAM building out the private equity platform, is departing to pursue “a new investment management opportunity”.
BAM is led by Comptroller Brad Lander who is the investment advisor, a trustee, and the custodian for the five systems.
Chief Investment Officer Steven Meier said: “Eneasz has been an invaluable colleague, mentor, and partner to many across our organisation. His professionalism, integrity, collaborative spirit, and deep commitment to our mission have left an indelible mark on our investment organisation and, importantly, on the strong positioning of the City’s five retirement systems’ portfolios.”
