Business Talent Group, which brings organisations and top-tier independent professionals together to drive change and address business challenges, has added director Paul Tufaro to its client development team.
With more than six years of investment banking and private equity experience, and an MBA from Georgetown University, Tufaro will work from BTG’s New York office to serve organisations across the region.
“I look forward to leveraging my private equity experience and retail investment banking background to educate companies about the power of this model,” Tufaro says.
BTG, founded seven years ago, helps some of the world’s best known companies, private equity firms, and non-profits harness independent consultants and executives to do work once performed by traditional consulting firms or permanent employees. The company has offices in New York, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, and Austin.
Tufaro has a broad range of financial services and retail experience. He began his career in the retail and consumer products group at Credit Suisse, and later worked as an associate with AlpInvest Partners in its Private Equity Co-Investments Fund. After earning his MBA, he was an equity analyst with Telsey Advisory Group, focused on the restaurant sector. He has been active as a volunteer with Minds Matter NYC, managing fundraising and serving as a Mentor for the 400-person organisation aimed at guiding low-income high school students to college success.
