Broad Sky Partners has secured a strategic investment from Capital Constellation, and made its first transaction with the acquisition of Thomas Scientific.
As a private equity firm that partners with leading middle market business services and consumer companies, Broad Sky offers a differentiated approach to sector-focused, thematic investing and value creation.
The firm was founded and is led by Chief Executive Officer Tyler Zachem, a 29-year private equity veteran, who most recently served as Co-Head of Carlyle Global Partners, Carlyle’s long-dated investment strategy, and Co-Chair of the Investment Committee of CEOF, Carlyle’s US middle market platform. He originally started Broad Sky in 2014, joined Carlyle for over five years and has now returned to build Broad Sky with Partners Adam Glucksman, Jodi Kahn and Jonathan Marlow, who have worked together alongside Zachem and also one another, in some cases for over a decade, as successful investors and operators.
