CapVest to buy enterprise resource planning SaaS provider KCS

Funds managed by CapVest Partners are to acquire Kerridge Commercial Systems, a global provider of enterprise resource planning software for distribution, servicing and rental businesses, from Accel-KKR, a global technology-focused investment firm.

Funds managed by CapVest Partners (CapVest) are to acquire Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS), a global provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for distribution, servicing and rental businesses, from Accel-KKR, a global technology-focused investment firm.

KCS’s specific software and services are delivered to a global base of over 32,000 customers across more than 70 countries. The company’s industry specific cloud software suites are used by a diversified client base spanning large enterprise to SME across a range of industry sectors including building materials and supplies, food and beverage, automotive, IT and electronics, construction and engineering, media and pharmaceuticals.

The transaction, which is subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions, is expected to close later in the year.
