CBPE Capital has acquired a majority stake in Tetra Consulting, a provider of property risk management services and software, in partnership with Tetra’s management team. The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
The investment aims to strengthen Tetra’s market leadership and accelerate growth through strategic service expansion and technological development.
Founded in 1998, Tetra Consulting delivers risk management advice and training to UK’s managing agents and property owners. Its expertise spans Health & Safety, Fire, Building Safety, Water, and Asbestos compliance. Headquartered in London, the business operates nationally through its team of fully employed consultants and has grown to a workforce of over 200 professionals across the UK.
A key component of Tetra’s service offering is PRISM, its proprietary cloud-based risk management platform. PRISM enables clients and consultants to manage regulatory “Golden Thread” requirements efficiently while streamlining internal property management workflows.
CBPE’s backing will support Paul Sadlier, CEO, and the leadership team to deepen client relationships and expand the business into new verticals in the coming years.
CBPE’s investment was led by Ben Lewis and Maximilian O’Connell, with support from Jolyon Latimer and Daniel Rossell. Following completion, Ben Lewis and Maximilian O’Connell will join the Board.
The transaction was advised by KPMG (M&A), CMS (Legal), BDO (Debt Advisory), PwC (FDD, CDD, Tax & Structuring), GK Strategy (Political), Howden (Insurance), and Anthesis (ESG).
Management received legal counsel from Stevens & Bolton, while financing was provided by UK private credit investor TDC, advised by Addleshaw Goddard.
