Chicago Atlantic, a private markets investment firm focused on emerging industries, healthcare, and special situations, has named Robert Beasley as Partner and Head of Restructuring, strengthening its operational value-creation capabilities across its portfolio.
Beasley, a former CEO of FLUENT Cannabis, brings more than two decades of experience spanning law, entrepreneurship, and executive leadership in highly regulated industries. At Chicago Atlantic, he will work closely with investment and leadership teams to support portfolio companies through periods of transition, focusing on operational improvements and long-term growth strategies.
During his tenure at FLUENT Cannabis from 2020 to 2025, Beasley expanded the company’s retail presence, enhanced cultivation and production, and oversaw entry into the New York market. He previously co-founded the law firm Litvak, Beasley, Wilson & Ball, where he advised on commercial and regulatory strategy, and played a pivotal role in shaping Florida’s medical cannabis legislation.
