Coalesce Capital (Coalesce), a private equity firm focused on human capital-driven and technology-enabled services companies, has added Jonathan Gurss as a Partner to its senior investment leadership team.
Prior to joining Coalesce, Gurss was a Principal at Sentinel Capital Partners, where he invested in and served on the board of directors of 10 companies. Prior to Sentinel, he was an Investment Banker at Harris Williams & Co.
The firm has also appointed Neil Merchant as a Principal, Jeffrey Stone as Director of Business Development, Colleen Hynes as a Senior Associate, and James Muse as an Associate.
Merchant was previously a Principal at Vestar Capital Partners, focused on business and technology services investments.
These appointments are all part of the continued buildout of the Coalesce team, following the close of its $900m debut fund earlier this month.
