Cohere Capital, a Boston-based private equity firm focused on investing in technology and tech-enabled services middle market companies, has promoted Mike Alberts to principal and Reid Glaser to vice president, and appointed Rich Boghosian as a principal.
Alberts joined Cohere in Summer 2019, at the firm’s inception and has contributed to its growth and development in many ways, including investment sourcing, new investment analysis, and firm marketing. Prior to Cohere, he worked in a variety of operational, private equity and investment banking roles.
Glaser joined Cohere in Fall 2021 as a senior associate after several years of private equity, investment banking and corporate development experience. He has participated in the evaluation and execution of multiple investments during his time at Cohere and works with numerous portfolio companies.
Boghosian joins Cohere as a principal with over a decade of M&A and private equity experience, including shared work history with members of the Cohere team. Previously, he was a Principal with HIG Growth Partners where he served as a lead deal team member on various transactions and on the board of a number of portfolio companies. Boghosian brings a strong investment track record and has a depth of technology and tech-enabled services investing knowledge in markets such as vertical software, IT infrastructure, financial technology and advertising technology, adding to the breadth of that expertise at Cohere.
