Colesco, a sustainability-led direct lender established to support European mid-market businesses that contribute to the transition to a more sustainable society, has appointed Adam Willmott as Co-Head of Origination in its London office.
In this new role, Willmott will be responsible for leading the origination and execution of private credit investments across Europe – bar the Benelux, – and will join the firm’s Leadership Team and Investment Committee. According to a press statement, his appointment “further bolsters Colesco’s capabilities in supporting companies across Europe with ambitious sustainability plans and he will be an invaluable asset to Colesco’s team”.
Willmott has more than thirty years’ experience in financial services, over half of which was gained at Rabobank, where he most recently served as Global Head Sponsor Coverage at Rabobank, responsible for the bank’s private equity franchise across both LBO and Infrastructure. Previously he held various leadership positions in the bank’s Financial Sponsor ecosystem.
