Comcast Ventures, the venture capital affiliate of Comcast Corporation, has hired Dinesh Moorjani as managing director based in Santa Monica.
A serial entrepreneur, senior operating executive and successful seed investor, Moorjani will lead investments across various sectors, including data and business intelligence, marketplaces and social networks.

Prior to joining Comcast Ventures, Moorjani served as executive-in-residence at Warburg Pincus where he continues to serve as an adviser.
He was the founder and CEO of Hatch Labs, where he and his team conceived of, built, and ran mobile start-ups. Moorjani co-founded Tinder in Hatch Labs.
He has been the cofounder and CEO of numerous early stage companies and has also held leadership roles at IAC/InteractiveCorp as well as Samsung Electronics.

Moorjani is an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California (USC), faculty adviser at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and serves on the board or as an adviser to numerous companies, including American Express OPEN and Assurant Solutions.
