Connection Capital, the private client investment business, has hired James Greenwood into its SME Investment team as appetite from private investors for access to UK private equity and debt transactions continues to grow.
Greenwood joins from Liberum Capital where he worked on a wide range of transactions across both public and private markets. Prior to that he worked for Panmure Gordon. At Connection Capital, James will be responsible for sourcing and executing prospective transactions and managing portfolio companies.
Greenwood began his career at a tech start-up before making the leap into Corporate Finance and M&A with Strata Partners. He holds degrees from both the University of Bristol (Chemistry) and the University of Cambridge (Land Economy).
