HSBC Asset Management (HSBC AM) is to launch its Vision Private Equity 2025 Fund in November 2024, following the successful final close of its Vision Private Equity 2024 Fund in June 2024 with $403.15m in capital commitments.

Third-party management company and fund regulation and governance solutions provider Carne Group (Carne), and institutional investment solutions business WTW, have secured regulatory approval for the launch of a private equity-focused Long Term Asset Fund (LTAF).

Forbion, a global life sciences venture capital firm focused on Europe, has raised over €2bn ($2.2bn) across its two newest funds, Forbion Growth Opportunities III and Forbion Ventures VII, bringing total assets under management to €5bn ($5.5bn).

Adams Street Partners, a private markets investment firm with over $60bn in assets under management, has held the final close of its oversubscribed Venture Innovation Fund IV programme (VIF IV) with more than $1.2 billion in capital commitments.

Mill Point Capital has closed its third private equity fund, at $1.7bn, nearly double the size of its previous fund. Mill Point Capital Partners III, which exceeded its $1.2bn target, will focus on lower mid-market companies across North America, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.

Private equity firm Renovus Capital Partners has held the final close of its fourth private equity fund Renovus Capital Partners IV Core Buyout, which was significantly oversubscribed with total capital commitments of $875m.
