Private equity investment firm Cornerstone Investment Management and Kartesia, a European specialist financing provider, have acquired Ecowipes Group, a producer of bio-degradable wet wipes and other products.Â
The deal marks the second ESG-focused transaction by the two companies following the joint acquisition of Okechamp/Lutece last year.
Ecowipes is a specialist in the production of bio-degradable products made from sustainable natural materials with minimal environmental impact. The company operates two factories in Europe producing wet wipes, hygiene buds and cosmetic pads.
