Eric Helenek has joined Cowen’s equity capital markets group as managing director.
Based in New York, Helenek will report to Grant Miller, Cowen’s head of equity capital markets.

Helenek joins Cowen from Lazard Frères, where he was a director in the alternative capital finance group responsible for the origination and execution of privately-executed financings for public companies in the energy and technology sectors. Previously, he was a vice president at Piper Jaffray focused on privately-executed financings and SG Cowen, where he began his career in 1998.
