Dalfen America Corp acquires McKinney Central Business Park

Dalfen America Corp (DAC) has acquired McKinney Central Business Park located at 2010 and 2040 N Redbud Boulevard in the rapidly growing DFW suburb of McKinney, Texas.

Built in 2001, the 201,425 square-foot, multi-tenant industrial business park is fully leased and comprised of 2 light industrial buildings containing notable tenants such as PODS Enterprises LLC and Dallas Morning News. In addition to the buildings, DAC acquired 6.5 acre parcel of land for future development purposes. The business park is extremely well located with excellent access off of US-75 North Central Expressway and adjacent to Sam’s Club and Walmart.

McKinney is ranked as one of the fastest growing cities in the United States according to the U.S. Census Bureau and is home to notable companies such as Raytheon Company, Torchmark Corporation, and Encore Wire.

This transaction marks the first acquisition of Dalfen’s Core + Industrial Fund, Ashrei III.

“These are high-quality properties located in a fast growing market with excellent demographics and significant barriers to entry,” says Sean Dalfen, President and CIO of DAC. “This month alone, including McKinney Business Park, we will have closed on 26 buildings totaling in excess of $130 million. We intend to continue to be one of the most active buyers of industrial real estate in the country and aim to ramp up our acquisitions substantially over the next twenty four months.”
