Pivot Power (Pivot), a privately-owned developer of transmission-connected battery storage and electric vehicle (EV) charging networks, has been acquired by EDF Renewables UK from funds managed by Downing LLP. Downing has partnered with Pivot since its inception in 2017, providing investment and support to secure 45 sites across the UK as part of the stage of a world-first EV charging and grid connected battery network. Arcmont Asset Management (Arcmont) has launched as an independent private debt business following the completion of its separation from BlueBay Asset Management (BlueBay). Arcmont currently manages institutional assets of over EUR13 billion and is focused on delivering flexible capital solutions to businesses across Europe. CSC, a provider of specialised administration services to alternative asset managers, is to acquire TCS-Groep (TCS), a Netherlands-based service provider for alternative investment funds (AIFs). ButcherJoseph Financial Holdings, an affiliate of investment banking firm ButcherJoseph & Co, has acquired Laffer Investments Inc, an SEC Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). Laffer Investments was founded in 1999 by economist, Arthur B Laffer, PhD, and currently provides investment management advice to individuals and portfolio management services to institutions totalling almost USD600 million.
