Floreat has completed an investment into fintech firm CreditEnable via its Principal Investment Fund I Limited, which is headed up by Jeff Sinclair.
CreditEnable, which was recently named as one of the Inclusive Fintech 50 by MetLife foundation and Visa Inc, provides technology and credit analytics solutions for Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) lenders. Focusing on expanding access and usage in underserviced areas, the firm develops credit profiling tools for SME borrowers to enable them to secure affordable debt.

Carey Olsen’s corporate team in the Cayman Islands has advised Brazilian corporate fitness startup Gympass on its latest funding round which has secured commitments of USD300 million – investment that puts the valuation of the company at more than USD1 billion.
The company, which was founded in Brazil in 2012 and moved its headquarters to New York in 2018, has more than 40,000 gym and studio partners and provides monthly passes to over 2,000 companies in 14 countries so that they can help pay for fitness programmes and classes for workers.

Ardenton Capital Corporation (Ardenton) has made its fifth investment in the UK, taking a majority equity position in Manchester-headquartered Food Innovations Baking Group (Food Innovations), a manufacturer of specialist products for the home baking and retail market.

Silverfleet Capital, a Pan-European private equity firm, has agreed the sale of Phase One, a technology business specialising in high-end digital imaging software and equipment, to funds managed by Axcel.
Completion of the transaction is subject to regulatory approval.

Private equity firm OpenGate Capital has sold Omniplast to a group of European investors composed of Reedcapital, Luigi M Chiaraviglio, and Swiss Merchant Corporation.
Omniplast was acquired by OpenGate in 2015 through the firm’s original, pre-fund investment in Ivy Group. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
