Argonaut Private Equity, a Tulsa-based private equity fund, has invested in Mammoth Carbon Products, a Houston-based pipeline distribution company. Mammoth is an industry leader in carbon steel pipe distribution and services for the energy infrastructure markets.
Established in 2014, Mammoth currently services the North American market focusing in Texas and Colorado. With completion of the investment, Argonaut will partner with Mammoth to continue its expansion into markets in the Northeastern US, Canada and California.

Construction Partners, a civil infrastructure company specialising in the construction and maintenance of roadways across five Southeastern states, has completed two acquisitions in Florida – Liquid Asphalt Terminal and Asphalt, and Ready-Mixed Concrete Company – for the aggregate purchase price of approximately USD19 million, paid entirely from cash on hand.
CPI expects to make customary capital improvements for both acquired businesses, but does not anticipate these expenditures to be material.

RDCP Care has acquired the entire elderly care business of Birmingham-based elderly care operator Dignus Healthcare Group in a deal supported by an eight figure funding package structured by Allied Irish Bank (AIB).
Dignus Healthcare was formed in 2006, and since then has been providing award-winning support and care services for individuals with mental health conditions and learning disabilities. RDCP has acquired all four of Dignus Healthcare’s Midlands elderly care homes; Bearwood Nursing Home in Smethwick, Bartholamew Lodge Nursing Home in Wednesbury, Richmond Court Nursing Home and Caldene Rest Home both in West Bromwich.

Jacana has completed the first-ever international export of Jamaican medical cannabis flower, having raised USD205 million to develop and distribute certified medical cannabis solutions.
The investment will be used to drive international expansion and build on Jacana’s existing presence in Europe, North America and the Caribbean.

Dentons has advised Martin Møller, the founder of Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC), on Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC’s significant minority investment in NAC.
NAC currently has a fleet of 480 aircraft with a value of USD8.3 billion. Martin Møller and EQT VI formed a partnership in 2015 which has since transformed NAC from being a lessor focused on turboprop aircraft, to being the world’s largest regional aircraft lessor and the fourth largest commercial aircraft leasing company.
GIC is a global investor with significant aircraft leasing experience and the transaction will be executed by an affiliate of GIC.

Clyde Blowers Capital (CBC) has completed the sale of hydraulic technologies provider, Hydreco, from CBC to Duplomatic Motion Solutions, sponsored by Alcedo.
Since acquiring Hydreco in 2008 from US industrial conglomerate, Textron, CBC has developed and broadened Hydreco’s range of products and expanded their market presence. Following the establishment of a presence in China and an increase of operational footprint within India in 2010, CBC supported the successful acquisition of HHW, based in Australia (2013). The business now has a significant global reach, with a focus on the Transport (APAC), Defence (UK) and Construction (Europe) sectors.
In preparation for
Private investment house Ardian has acquired the rights to a EUR300 million investment to build a wind farm in Åndberg/Härjedalen, Sweden from OX2, a Nordic renewable energy developer.
Ardian has also engaged OX2 to lead the construction and technical management of the facility. The wind farm will be operational in 2021 and is expected to produce in excess of 800GWh per year.
Augusta & Co, a specialist financial advisory to the European renewable energy sector, acted on behalf of developer OX2, managing the sale of the project to Ardian.

Rigby Group initially invested in Fluidata in 2015 to drive the next phase of growth for the leading data connectivity business, which had been founded in 2006 by Piers Daniell. Following the investment, Fluidata acquired OnePoint, a voice and mobile specialist, creating FluidOne in 2016, at which point Rigby Group became the sole owner of the enlarged business.

Secure Trust Bank Commercial Finance has provided an GBP8 million asset based lending facility to Antler, as the luggage manufacturer looks to invest in its online platform.
Antler has been trusted by travellers since 1914, with a reputation for innovative, lightweight and durable suitcases and bags. Designing all of its products in the UK, Antler is one of the well-known luggage brands in the local market as well as Australia, and is sold through its own stores, online at Antler.co.uk and through various wholesale partners.

Funds advised by specialist debt investor Permira Debt managers (PDM) are acting as sole senior secured lender to GHO in the acquisition of Sterling Pharma Solutions (Sterling).
Sterling is a provider of small molecule API development and manufacturing services to the global pharmaceutical industry, including some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical firms.
The deal will see GHO capital take a majority stake alongside the existing management. The Permira Credit Solutions Funds’ financing will support the transaction and include provisions for future growth strategies including organic and inorganic expansion.
