Constellation Brands has acquired Dallas-based brewer Four Corners Brewing Co producer of a range of premium products including Local Buzz Honey-Rye Golden Ale and El Chingón IPA.
Four Corners, which will join Constellation’s Craft & Specialty Beer Group, was founded in 2012 by longtime friends George Esquivel, Greg Leftwich and Steve Porcari. The founders and their team will all remain involved with Four Corners following the acquisition.

Investment vehicles managed by Colony Capital have their entire stake in DATA4 to AXA Investment Managers – Real Assets, acting on behalf of AXA France.
DATA4 is a European specialist in dedicated and colocation data centres that offers services to Cloud providers, digital service companies and large and medium-sized firms. DATA4 finances, designs, builds and operates its own data centres, in order to offer its customers hosting solutions that are flexible, scalable, high-performing and secured. Noerr has advised the Schwarz Group on the takeover of the Tönsmeier group of companies. The Schwarz Group, Europe’s largest retail company, is implementing the purchase through its affiliate GreenCycle, located in Neckarsulm, Germany.
GreenCycle is taking over the fifth largest player on the German waste disposal market. Tönsmeier is based in Porta Westfalica, Germany, and is also active on the Polish and Dutch markets. It achieved sales of around €500 million with a workforce of more than 3,000 last year. MediaMath, a specialist in programmatic advertising, has secured USD225 million in new financing, in a funding round led by Searchlight Capital Partners (Searchlight).
The funding provides MediaMath with strategic growth capital to accelerate the expansion of its Demand Side Platform (DSP) and Data Management Platform (DMP). The funding, which will be delivered in two tranches to pursue both organic and inorganic growth initiatives, brings MediaMath’s total capital invested to over USD500 million.

Private equity firm TA Associates is to invest in Compusoft, a provider of computer-aided design (CAD) software to the kitchen and bathroom retail industries. The investment is expected to close in the third quarter of 2018. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Compusoft’s main products, Winner Design and Innoplus, provide design and sales support to kitchen and bathroom retailers, respectively. The user-friendly CAD systems include proprietary databases of graphic elements, pricing information and language translations from more than 2,800 digital manufacturer catalogues. Chicago-based private equity firm Core Industrial Partners’ portfolio company Prototek Sheetmetal Fabrication has acquired Hayes manufacturing Services.
Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Headquartered in Silicon Valley, Hayes offers rapid prototyping and low-volume precision machining services for a blue-chip customer base primarily in the medical, aerospace, robotics and electronics end markets. Gide has advised Chalco Hong Kong Limited (Chalco HK) on the negotiation and signing of a mining convention with the Republic of Guinea for the development of the Boffa Nord and Boffa Sud bauxite mining blocks.
The project has an initial investment valued at approximately USD706 million.
Chalco HK, part of the state-owned group Aluminum Corporation of China (Chinalco), will develop and exploit the mine, which will have an initial production capacity of 12 million tons per year, through its Guinean project companies.

Rock Hill Capital Group (Rock Hill) has completed a majority recapitalisation of LQC Pipe and Supply, (LQC), a Houston-based wholesale distribution business providing pipes, valves and fittings to midstream and downstream end-users.

Monomoy Capital Partners III (Monomoy) has acquired Edsal Manufacturing Co (Edsal), a provider of residential steel storage racks sold at retail.
Edsal, started in 1957 by Edwin Saltzberg, manufactures, sources and distributes branded and private label storage products for garages, tool sheds and basements. The company is a specialist in residential steel shelving sold through the home improvement, big box and mass retail channels with a growing presence in ecommerce sales. Edsal also manufactures steel cabinets and lockers for homes and small businesses; industrial racking products and free-standing tool boxes; plus a variety of related products for garage and basement storage.
Mimecast Limited, an email and data security company, has acquired Ataata, a cybersecurity training and awareness platform.
Mimecast says the acquisition will allow customers to measure cyber risk training effectiveness by converting behaviour observations into actionable risk metrics for security professionals. The addition of security awareness training and risk scoring and analysis strengthens Mimecast’s cyber resilience for email capabilities.
