Silverfleet Capital, a Pan-European private equity firm that specialises in buy-to-build, is o acquire a majority stake in Riviera Travel, a specialist holiday operator offering a global portfolio of escorted tours and cruises.
Terms of the deal, which is expected to close shortly, have not been disclosed.

Pace, a London startup that uses machine learning and dynamic pricing to maximise hotels’ revenues and occupancy, has secured a GBP2.5 million seed investment led by InterGlobe, with participation from Seedcamp, Speedinvest and Amadeus Capital Partners.

LBO France is to acquire Crouzet, a specialist in customised switches, electric actuators and automated systems for critical applications, from InnoVista Sensors, a company owned by PAI Partners, The Carlyle Group and Schneider Electric.
The transaction has already received a favourable opinion from the relevant works council and remains subject to customary regulatory approvals. The transaction is expected to close by early 2018.

Investec Growth & Acquisition Finance (GAF) has provided a funding package to support the merger of Troika Talent Agents and James Grant Group (‘JGG’), a provider of management and professional services to the sports, music and entertainment sectors.
The GAF team previously supported the management buyout of JGG in 2014 by Metric Capital, a pan-European private capital fund manager that invests alongside management teams to support their strategic growth plans.
The deal with Troika was JGG’s fourth transaction of 2017. GAF has previously supported the activity with Deckstar, 10 Management and Top Marque Sports during the year.

Upstream Security, provider of a cloud-based cybersecurity platform for connected cars and autonomous vehicles, has closed a USD9 million Series A funding round, led by CRV (Charles River Ventures).
The round included expanded investments from Israeli-based Glilot Capital Partners and Maniv Mobility.
