Roynat Equity Partners has sold internet access business NetSet to Xplornet Communications (Xplornet). Based in Brandon, Manitoba, NetSet provides next generation broadband services throughout the province of Manitoba.
Xplornet will maintain the NetSet Communications trade name and will retain virtually all of NetSet’s employees and business operations in both Brandon and Winnipeg.
Roynat Equity Partners has been a shareholder of NetSet since 2014, providing value-added capital to help the company rapidly grow its geographic footprint and subscriber base throughout the province.
Rosewood Private Investments (RPI) has acquired a majority equity in ProTec Laboratory (ProTec), a provider of contract manufacturing services to consumer brands in the dietary supplements, sports nutrition, functional foods, and pet care products industries.
The investment in ProTec represents the third within RPI’s holding company, International Nutrition & Wellness Holdings (INW Holdings), and the second this year under INW Holdings CEO Paul Richardson. In July, INW acquired Irving, Texas-based contract manufacturer, Healthy Natural, Inc. (Healthy Natural), from Rice-Bran Technologies. INW also holds an ownership stake in United I International Laboratories (“United I”), a Carrollton, Texas-based manufacturer of dietary supplements, sports nutrition and personal care products. Vestar Capital Partners (Vestar) is to acquire to acquire Nonni’s Food Group (Nonni’s), a manufacturer of artisanal biscuits and other baked snacks from Wind Point Partners.
Terms of the transaction, which is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2017, have not been disclosed.
Nonni’s products are marketed under the Nonni’s, THINaddictives, and La Dolce Vita brand names, and sold through a diverse distribution platform that includes major customers in club, grocery, mass market, foodservice, and online retailing.

Ecological Service Partners (ESP) has secured a USD250 million equity commitment from its financial partners. The new financing will support ESP’s activities in large-scale ecological restoration of damaged wetlands, streams and habitats for endangered species, as well as in enhancing water quality for offsets to nutrient impacts.

Secure-24 specialises in delivering effective, comprehensive managed services that leverage proprietary, highly automated operation tools. Its clients represent Fortune 1000 companies in sectors including manufacturing, finance, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, insurance, government, transportation and more.
NTT Com will leverage Secure-24’s extensive portfolio of managed application and database services, including SAP, SAP HANA, Oracle, Hyperion, JD Edwards, Microsoft, Epic, custom, industry and other mission-critical applications.

Tengram Capital Partners is to acquire luxury skincare brand RéVive from Shiseido Americas Corporation.
Under the terms of the agreement, Tengram will run the company as an independent and stand-alone entity based in New York City. Closing is expected to be completed by the end of November.
