Lendable has raised USD 6.5 million in a Series A round of investment from KawiSafi Ventures, Omidyar Network, Fenway Summer Ventures and a number of prominent FinTech angel investors from the United States. They included Larry Rosenberger, the former Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO) CEO. Reconor Group, a portfolio company of private equity firm Agilitas, has completed its second addition of 2017 with the acquisition of Mijodan. Reconor, one of the leading environmental services groups in Denmark, also purchased Lotra in June 2017.   Reconor handles over 2 million tonnes of waste each year, with only 0.12 per cent being sent to landfill. The majority of the waste is recycled (e.g. for renewable power resources, hardcore ballast for construction, as well as materials for plasterboard). Reconor’s expertise helps Danish industrial and construction groups meet the country’s high standards of responsible and environmentally safe recycling.  
ARX Equity Partners (ARX) has exited its 2010 investment in Czech construction materials manufacturer, KVK Holding (KVK), generating an overall 3.7x cash-on-cash return multiple and an IRR exceeding 20 per cent in the process. KVK operates six production sites in the Czech Republic – three for the manufacture of mortar products, two for bituminous membranes and one for expanded polystyrene insulation. Noerr has advised Evac Group Holding Oy on the sale of the Finnish Evac Group by IK Investment Partners (through its IK VII Fund) to private equity funds managed by Bridgepoint. Evac Group is the world’s leading provider of integrated waste, wastewater, and water management systems for the marine, offshore and building industries. In 2016, it generated a turnover exceeding EUR 100 million. Gendius, a digital health start-up, has completed a Series A funding to launch Intellin – an App-based platform for people living with diabetes to better manage their condition. Noerr has advised the Chinese motor manufacturer SEC Holding Co, Ltd, which also owns the publicly traded SEC Electric Machinery Co, on a strategic acquisition of drive technology specialist VEM, a member of the Merckle Group. The VEM Group specialises in manufacturing electric drive systems, custom motors and special machines. Secret Escapes, the London-based international online marketplace for affordable luxury travel deals, has closed a USD111 million (GBP83 million) Series D investment and debt facility.
