Niche London has advised Ipes (UK) Ltd on its expansion-led UK office headquarters relocation from Victoria to the City. Morgenthaler Private Equity (MPE) has recapitalised Trachte, a manufacturer of preassembled and modularised control buildings.  The company's custom buildings house critical electrical components that control and protect electrical infrastructure, such as transmission & distribution substations.  In addition, Trachte buildings are used extensively in industrial applications to house equipment, such as switchgear, motor controls, and pumps. Trachte serves utilities, OEMs, and other channel partners in the power generation, energy, chemical processing, data centre, and general industrial end markets.   MPE partnered in the transaction with the existing shareholders, including retiring President Randy Trachte and retiring VP of Sales Ron Trachte, as well
Arma Partners has acted as exclusive financial advisor to IRIS Software Group Limited on its recapitalisation by HgCapital at an enterprise valuation of GBP763 million. HgCapital has been an investor in IRIS Software since acquiring the business for GBP102 million in 2004 and a majority owner for seven of the past eleven years.     With 35 years’ experience, IRIS Software is a leading provider of business critical software and services to the UK accountancy and SME sectors. Private equity firm Mid Europa Partners is to take full ownership of Walmark after agreeing to buy out the founding Walach family. The transaction is subject to anti-trust clearance. The Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GSFC) has signed MoUs with both the SFC and HKMA regarding consultation, cooperation and the exchange of information related to the supervision of AIFMD entities. CEO of the GFSC, Samantha Barrass, says: “Signing the AIFMD MoUs with the two Hong Kong regulators is an important development for us. Private equity firm EQT has signed an agreement via its EQT Mid Market Fund to acquire Berlin-based kfzteile24 GmbH. The company is being sold by its two founders, Matthias Kieper and Torsten Hainke. Both remain substantial shareholders in kfzteile24 and will continue in their roles as co-CEOs in order to drive the company’s growth and development. kfzteile24 is a leading German online retailer for vehicle parts and accessories. The Edmond de Rothschild is looking to bolster its private equity offer, with the objective of increasing assets under management by more than 50 per cent over the next two years.
