GenTwo, a Swiss-based B2B Fintech platform specialised in securitisation of bankable and non-bankable assets, has raised $15m in a Series A led by US-based Point72 Ventures, the VC associate of Steve Cohen’s hedge fund firm Point72 Asset Management.

European private equity firm Permira has agreed a deal to acquire British biopharmaceutical services company Ergomed, a provider of clinical research and trial management services, for around £703.1m ($886.40m), according to a report by Reuters.
Global Loan Agency Services (GLAS), a provider of loan administration, agency, and trustee services globally and a portfolio company of private equity firm Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP), is to acquire Pristine SAS, a Paris-headquartered asset and trust management firm.

Private equity firms TA Associates and Warburg Pincus are exploring a sale of portfolio company Procare Solutions, a provider of child-care management software, that could value the business at nearly $2bn, including debt, according to a report by Reuters.
HIG Capital (HIG), a global alternative investment firm with $58bn of capital under management, has sold a portion of its stake in Eletromidia, a Brazil-based out-of-home (OOH) media company, to Latin American media conglomerate Grupo Globo (Globo).
Discovery Education, a global education technology company backed by Clearlake Capital Group, has agreed to acquire DreamBox Learning, an education technology provider serving more than six million students and 600,000 educators in the US. 
French private equity firm Archimed SAS has agreed to buy UK software company Instem, a provider of IT services for drug development in the global life sciences market, in a take-private deal that values the Staffordshire-based business at £203m. 
European specialist growth investor Verdane, through its impact fund Idun, has made an investment of up to €26m in UrbanVolt, a specialist in clean energy technology with operations in Ireland and the United Kingdom. 
PAM Group, an occupational health and corporate health services provider backed by private equity firm LDC, has continued its expansion with the acquisition of Corporate Health Ireland (CHI), which has 100 staff and annual revenues of €11m.
Balance Point Capital Advisors (Balance Point), via the Balance Point Capital Partners V fund, has made a follow-on investment in Concord Servicing Corporation (Concord), a portfolio company of Inverness Graham Investments (IGI).
