Keensight Capital, a private equity manager dedicated to pan-European Growth Buyout investments, has invested in Lisam Systems, a global provider of Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) compliance management software solutions and services, with a local presence in over 20 countries.
Headquartered in Belgium, Lisam Systems serves more than 2,000 clients operating across various industries worldwide, including chemicals, detergents, paints and coatings, industrial and specialty gases, and fragrances.
Lisam offers a wide range of mission-critical software solutions, including notably a software suite to author, manage, and distribute GHS[2]-compliant Safety Data Sheets for chemicals in 55+ languages. In addition, the Company
GIC and APG will acquire a substantial stake in The Student Hotel (TSH) and commit to invest to fuel further expansion for the hybrid hospitality leader, subject to customary regulatory approvals.
The transaction values TSH, including assets currently under development, at €2.1 billion.
The deal sees APG and founder Charlie MacGregor increase their current stake in TSH. APG first invested in TSH in 2015. MacGregor and Aermont Capital entered into business in 2014 after MacGregor opened the first The Student Hotel in 2012. GIC now joins as a new investor.

Sonrai Analytics, an emerging global innovator in AI Cloud Data Analytics, has raised a ‘seed plus’ funding round of £2.175 million to accelerate the global adoption of its technology.
The investment will help Sonrai reach more companies globally to translate precision medicine’s complex multi-omics data into real insights leading to better-personalised treatments for patients.
The funding round was led by venture capital firm Forward Partners. Existing institutional investors Techstart Ventures, Co-Fund NI (managed by Clarendon Fund Managers), QUBIS, and Angel Investors also participated in the round.
Criterion Africa Partners (CAP), a private equity firm investing in the forestry sector in sub-Saharan Africa, has has exited its investment in Compagnie des Bois du Gabon (CBG) through the sale of its 49% stake to TotalEnergies.
CBG is an integrated forest products company that operates on 596,000 of concessions located between the Loango and Moukalaba Doudou national parks in Gabon. British Patient Capital has invested £5 million in CloudNC, a London-based developer of automation software for the manufacturing sector, as part of a £35 million Series B round.

PwC Germany is joining many other business luminaries as a World Fund investor. Launched in 2021, the fund was founded to source and support the next generation of climate tech companies tackling the most pressing issue of our time.
