Gousto, a leading UK recipe box company, and the only profitable B Corp Unicorn in the UK, has completed a USD230 million secondary placement, led by SoftBank VF2 and introduces Fidelity International, Grosvenor Food & AgTech and Railpen to its share register.
Prometheus Group, a global provider of asset management operations and optimisation software, has acquired S&V, a provider of data services and technology solutions for various industries such as manufacturing, airlines, utilities and oil and gas. S&V has spent over 13 years helping customers discover and maximise the value of their material data.    Financial terms of the acquisition of S&V, the eighth made by Prometheus Group since being acquired by Genstar Capital in 2019, have not been disclosed. 
Integrity360 and Caretower, two established providers of cybersecurity services, have joined forces with Caretower becoming an Integrity360 company. The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.      For the 2021 calendar year Caretower reported sales of circa GBP28 million in 2021 and operates from offices in London and Sofia, Bulgaria. All of Caretower’s employees will remain with the group. Combined, the enhanced group expects sales exceeding GBP70 million in 2022.      Both Integrity360 and Caretower are steeped in the roots of the cybersecurity industry having been established in 2005 and 1998 respectively. North west based multi-family investment office Arete has led a GBP3.5 million funding round in Dynamis, a technology enabled service provider. Warrington-based Dynamis is headed up by founder and CEO Martin Smith, who has been providing greener domestic energy solutions for over ten years. Before launching Dynamis, he successfully exited Sunlight Tech after selling the business to Octopus Energy. The investment from Arete will help Dynamis develop and innovate its hardware and software solutions, alongside a core installation programme that aims to decarbonise the UK’s housing stock.
Wearable Link Limited, trading as Plinx, has secured GBP500,000 in funding to support its investment in product development and enter new markets as well as supporting the creation of seven new jobs for the local Worcestershire economy. Plinx secured funding from the Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF), from the West Midlands Debt Finance fund managed by Maven Capital Partners (Mave) and backed by the Recovery Loan Scheme. Based out of Malvern Science Park, Plinx is an IoT technology provider specialising in the development of an innovative health and safety system for the construction sector.
TitanHQ, an invested company of UK mid-market private equity investor Livingbridge, has acquired Cyber Risk Aware, a security awareness platform. Headquartered in Galway, Ireland and with offices in Florida, TitanHQ provides Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and businesses with advanced web filtering, email security and archiving solutions.    Having identified the growing market momentum for SaaS-based security solutions, Livingbridge invested in Titan in 2020, and has supported TitanHQ’s growth plans through increased investment in product development and people.   Cyber Risk Aware is a leading security awareness platform, with a portfolio of blue-chip clients including Invesco, Standard Chartered and Glen Dimplex. 
Actyv.ai, an AI-powered Enterprise SaaS platform with BNPL for B2B embedded, has raised USD5 million in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Dubai-based 1Digi Investment management firm, the family office of Raghunath Subramanian, Global CEO, Actyv.ai. Facilio, a property operations software platform specialist, has raised USD35 million in a Series B funding round led by Dragoneer Investment Group with participation from Brookfield Growth and existing investors Accel India and Tiger Global Management. AgDevCo, a specialist investor in early-stage African agribusinesses, has secured a USD90 million package of new funding from the CDC Group, Norfund and DFC which will allow AgDevCo to continue to grow its investment activities in agriculture across Sub-Saharan Africa.
