Valence Surface Technologies (Valence) has acquired H&W Global Industries (H&W), a provider of surface treatment for highly engineered products in the aerospace and defence market in the North East region of North America.  H&W, located in Blairsville, Pennsylvania, provides surface treatment to many leading US defence platforms and maintains key approvals with strategic A&D primes such as Northrop Grumman.   Founded in 2002 by husband and wife, Jean-Pierre Habets and Sandra Habets, H&W provides a wide variety of metal finishing services, including anodising, electroplating, and industrial painting, specialising in BR-127 bond primer for leading defence applications. H&W operates out of
UpperStage.Capital has acquired Talius, a British Columbia-headquartered cleantech building materials company. The Riverside Company is to sell its investment in ACTINEO to global data analytics provider, Verisk (Nasdaq:VRSK). 
RealEats, a meal delivery service that makes it simple for people to enjoy the nutritional benefits of real food, has raised USD16.3 million in a Series A funding round.  The round was led by Hamilton Lane (NASDAQ: HLNE) on behalf of the New York State Common Retirement Fund, which participated through its co-investment fund managed by the firm, and also includes health and wellness retailer GNC, Armory Square Ventures, and Excell Partners. “We are thrilled to partner with such highly strategic and supportive investors who share our vision for a healthier food future,” says Dan Wise, founder & CEO, RealEats
The IK Small Cap III Fund, alongside management, is to acquire Plastiflex Group NV (Plastiflex) from 3d INvestords. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Golden Gate Capital, a private equity investment firm, has partnered with Founder and CEO, Robert Peterson, to recapitalised All My Sons, a provider of moving and storage services.  Peterson will continue to lead the Company from its headquarters in Carrollton, TX and will remain a significant shareholder. Clearview Capital Fund III (Fund III), an affiliate of Clearview Capital, has sold its majority interest in Controlled Products Acquisition Corp and its subsidiaries (Controlled Products) to Sentinel Capital Partners (Sentinel), a private equity firm that invests in middle market companies. Terms of the transaction, which closed on 25 October, 2021, have not been disclosed.   Controlled Products is a manufacturer and distributor of premium quality synthetic turf solutions.
