Raiven Capital, a global early-stage venture fund, today announced its investment in KnowWake, a marine navigation platform for recreational boaters. 
Payaca, a fintech company behind a digital job management platform that helps service and trade-based businesses streamline operations, has secured GBP331k in investment from Blackfinch Ventures.  Targeted at small to medium sized businesses to increase their chances of winning work, Payaca’s mobile and web apps allow users to produce interactive quotes, provide built-in finance options, and to integrate seamlessly with accounting and payments services.     Founded in Bristol in 2020 by entrepreneur and CEO Matt Franklin the platform boasts a unique blend of sales CRM, job management, payments and analytics features.    It is designed and maintained in-house by
Northstar Capital (Northstar), a provider of junior capital for middle market private equity transactions, has invested in Drake Waterfowl Systems (Drake), a portfolio company of Weinberg Capital Group (WCG). Drake is a provider of branded apparel and accessories for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts. Founded in 2002, Drake was one of the first providers of a complete waterfowl hunting solution and has since become one of the most prominent waterfowl brands in the industry. Additionally, Drake offers products for deer hunting (non-typical), turkey hunting (‘Ol Tom), fishing (DPF), and casual wear.  Northstar provided debt and an equity co-investment to help WCG
SWS Equipment (SWS), a Northwest USA environmental waste equipment distributor, has received a majority growth investment from Montlake Capital, a Northwest growth equity firm and Cascadia Private Capital, the private capital arm of Cascadia Capital.  The investors will partner with SWS founder Paul Cochran and his team to drive growth and geographic expansion throughout the Northwest. Founded in 1990 by President Paul Cochran, SWS provides waste, recycling, sewer, and sweeper equipment, service, parts and rentals to the greater Northwest region. Underdog Pharmaceuticals, a key investment of Michael Greve’s rejuvenation biotech VC Kizoo, has closed a USD10 million round of capital. Kizoo led the company’s Series Seed II round, which saw participation from both existing and new investors. Accounting for up to 40 per cent of deaths in Europe and the United States, cardiovascular disease, heart attacks, and strokes are by far the world’s most life-threatening conditions. Their primary cause is atherosclerosis—the buildup of plaque in the arterial walls. Underdog’s engineered synthetic carbohydrate compound, UDP-003, is designed to target and remove toxic oxidised cholesterol, a key driver of arterial plaque accumulation.
Bluefield Partners (Bluefield), a UK based investment adviser, and Arcano Capital have launched an Italian Co-Investment “special situation” vehicle, focused on Italian operational solar assets. 
777 Partners, a Miami-based alternative investment firm, has acquired full ownership of Genoa Cricket and Football Club, Italy’s oldest professional football team.  Genoa CFC (Genoa), which plays in Italy’s prestigious Serie A, was established in 1893 and has won the Italian championship nine times.    The new ownership group will purchase 99.9 per cent of the share capital in Genoa, inject fresh capital into the club and will assume certain related liabilities. 777 Partners will use its expertise in the sports, media and entertainment industries to help further commercialise the operations of the club. 21 Invest France has acquired a majority stake in Edukea group alongside Christophe Caporossi, Chairman of the group. Edukea is a training platform made up of three schools: ESO – a pioneer school for osteopathy training in France, founded in 1991; IFOA – a school dedicated to animal osteopathy, acquired in 2020; and ESNAT – a school dedicated to naturopathy, launched in 2021.   The group’s purpose is to train health professionals and practitioners specialising in alternative and natural medicine. UBCO, a specialist in utility electric vehicles, has secured USD10 million from existing investor Jubilee Glory Investments for its upcoming Series B funding round. Vinterior, a marketplace for curated vintage furniture and home accessories, today announces that it has raised GBP8 million in a Series A funding roundled by Active Partners.  The investment will be used to supercharge international growth and product innovation, build out the Vinterior team, and bring sustainable, vintage and antique home decor to consumers across Europe.
