MacNeill Pride Group (MPG), a diversified global designer and manufacturer of outdoor products and sporting goods, has acquired Klymit, an outdoor gear designer.
Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. MPG is a portfolio company of Centre Partners.

Russian plant-based meat startup Welldone has closed a USD1.5 million funding round to significantly expand production capacity to meet the company’s rapid growth in sales.
The round was led by Phystech Ventures, an international fund investing in deep tech startups globally, with participation from Lever VC, a leading global investor in the alternative protein category. The funding will be used to accelerate Welldone’s R&D, launch additional product lines, and increase production capacity to up to 150 tons per month.

Axion BioSystems provides an integrated technology platform for cell activity monitoring, based on its unique Bioelectronic Assay technology. GED Capital, a private equity group specialised in the Iberian lower mid-market segment, has acquired a majority stake in the artisan bakery chain Levaduramadre. GED Capital’s investment has been made through its portfolio company Comess Group, a restaurant group that manages a network of 380 establishments under its brands: Lizarran (pinchos tavern), Pomodoro (Italian restaurants), Cantina Mariachi (Mexican restaurants), DonG (Spanish fast food), Casa García (traditional Spanish bar) and others. Apart from GED Capital, Oquendo Capital and Manuel Robledo are also shareholders in Comess Group.

Dechert and AZB & Partners were the top mergers and acquisitions (M&A) legal advisers by value and volume, respectively, in the Asia-Pacific region during the first half (H1) of 2021.
Dechert advised on 10 deals worth USD39.1 billion, the highest among all the advisers. Meanwhile, AZB & Partners led in volume terms having advised on 30 deals worth USD20.1 billion. A total of 3,536 M&A deals were announced in the region during H1 2021, according to GlobalData, a leading data and analytics company.

Soho Street Cocktails sells pre-mixed, bar-quality cocktail pouches, which allow bars and restaurants to improve serve consistency, reduce service time and make industry leading margins.
The funds raised through Growthdeck will fund Soho Street Cocktails’ core strategy of growing sales through retailers and in bars and restaurants, as well as continuing to increase its production.
