Alliance Asset Management, a UK provider of vehicle fleet solutions, has secured a GBP5 million facility that will be used to support the company’s growth on the back of recent major contract wins.
The firm offers vehicle rental and leases to businesses and educational establishments across the UK, working with fleets ranging in size from one to 10,000. The independently owned business, which has been operating for more than 24 years, manages all aspects of vehicle rental, from booking to sourcing vehicles and helping to reduce unexpected costs such as excess mileage and damage.

Access Holdings, a Baltimore-based mid-market investment firm, has partnered with Oasis Marinas (Oasis) to support the company’s growth.
Based in Annapolis, Maryland, Oasis Marinas is the premier third-party marina management company in the United States, providing marina owners support across all aspects of marina management while ensuring boaters receive consistent, quality service and experience. Access Holdings will support Oasis as it scales its operations and bring new tools and technologies to innovate and optimise the customer and marina owner experience. Socius Insurance Services, Inc, an independently-owned management liability and property/casualty insurance wholesaler, has received a significant growth investment from Abry Partners (Abry), a Boston-based private equity firm. Abry is making the investment in partnership with the company’s CEO Patrick Hanley and senior management.
Socius plans to use proceeds from the investment to accelerate its strategic growth plan and pursue acquisition activities. Socius and Abry have already identified potential acquisitions to further build its national footprint, expand Socius’ locations in new and existing geographies, as well as broaden its suite of insurance offerings. Business angels from the BayStartUP investor network are now investing a high six figure sum in this technology under the leadership of Andreas Kupke (Finanzcheck) and Wolfgang Seibold together with the TUM Initiative for Industrial Innovators. The capital injection is supplemented by a funding amount of over EUR500,000. The capital will be used for product and quality improvement as well as the expansion of the communications, marketing and sales departments.

myneva offers dedicated SaaS solutions across the elderly, disabled, social, and youth care sectors, helping care providers to digitise their workflows to better manage increased demand for care, and respond to converging patient needs.

OpenGate Capital, a global private equity firm, has completed the acquisition of the ScioTeq and TREALITY Simulation Visual Systems (TREALITY) businesses from TransDigm Group Incorporated. Terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
ScioTeq and TREALITY develop and manufacture advanced visualisation solutions including ruggedised displays and simulation systems to serve a diversified, customer base across avionics, aerospace, air traffic control, and security end markets. Combined, the businesses have approximately 450 employees and operate primarily in Belgium and the United States with a global customer base. TransDigm Group divested the businesses to realign their core business strategy.
OpenGate Capital’s Partner and
Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP), a private equity firm based in St Louis, has completed the sale of Vetio Animal Health (Vetio), a leading Animal Health Contract Development Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) in North America, to Swedencare AB. Vetio specialises in complex drug product formulation and manufacturing of veterinary pharmaceutical, supplement, and dermatology products. TSCP was advised by Sidley Austin and Stifel.

Micross Components (Micross), a provider of high-reliability microelectronic product and service solutions for aerospace, defence, space, medical and industrial applications and a portfolio company of Behrman Capital, announced the acquisition of Semi Dice, LLC (Semi Dice), a global provider of high-reliability die & wafer products and value-added services. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Three of space tech investor Seraphim Space’s portfolio companies – D-Orbit, Spire and Iceye – have successfully launched assets into orbit onboard the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.
The satellites that all three have deployed in space can fundamentally help address pressing climate change issues such as disaster relief, natural habitat destruction, energy usage and predicting extreme weather events.

Gresham House, a specialist alternative asset manager, has invested GBP63 million into full-stack UK internet service provider Telcom Group through its British Strategic Investment Fund (BSIF).
The commitment will enable Manchester-based Telcom Group to accelerate its delivery of ultrafast and reliable fibre connectivity to commercial and residential properties across the UK, underpinned by its own network infrastructure. Outside Manchester, the group’s focus will be on building fibre networks in key Northern and Midlands powerhouse cities.
