Leukocare AG, a biotechnology company specialised in the field of biopharmaceutical formulation development, has closed a USD17.5 million (EUR 14.6 million) financing, led by Petrichor Healthcare Capital Management, with participation from existing Leukocare shareholders.  The financing consists of a USD15 million convertible loan and a USD2.5 million equity investment from Petrichor. Proceeds will be used to accelerate Leukocare’s US expansion activities, bolster the company’s expertise in the fields of viral vector and vaccine formulation, as well as the emerging field of mRNA formulation, and to expand the Company’s suite of bioinformatics capabilities. Godspeed Capital Management (Godspeed Capital) has acquired Austin Brockenbrough & Associates (Brockenbrough), an architecture, engineering, and surveying company which supports Federal, State, and Municipal Government clients. The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. The newly acquired Company will join Godspeed Capital’s existing portfolio company, Prime Engineering, (Prime) under a newly formed multi-disciplinary Engineering & Consulting services growth platform called Prime ABA, LP (“Prime ABA”). BGF has completed a cornerstone investment in The Artisanal Spirits Company plc, a specialist retailer of premium single cask, single malt Scotch whisky and other spirits, as part of its admission to trading on AIM. The admission took place on 4 June 2021. Headquartered in Edinburgh, The Artisanal Spirits Company (ASC) is the owner of The Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS), the leading curator and provider of premium single cask Scotch malt whisky to a global customer base of subscribers. F C Laser Limited (F C Laser) has received a GBP1.5 million loan from Maven Capital Partners (Maven) through the Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF) and backed by the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS).  The business, which specialises in engineering and metal fabrication, is set to use the finance to purchase new technology and enable the automation and expansion of its two sites near Ilkeston in Derbyshire.    F C Laser provides precision laser cutting and metal fabrications that incorporates the latest in fibre technology. GovExec, an information services company for government leaders and contractors, has acquired two contracting intelligence properties: Military Periscope (Periscope), the globally respected and most-up-to-date, open-source military data source, and Government Contracting Institute (GCI), the business opportunity tool built to target and alert federal government contractors of federal business opportunities aligned to their business expertise.   The announcement was made today by Tim Hartman, CEO, GovExec. Prosek Partners, a global financial marketing communications and special situations firm, has acquired a stake in Blue Dot Capital, a boutique sustainable finance consulting firm with expertise and experience in advising investment-management firms on developing comprehensive Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and impact investing capabilities. 
Crosspoint Capital Partners (Crosspoint), a private equity firm focused on the cybersecurity, privacy and infrastructure software markets, has made an investment in Everseen, a specialist in AI-powered computer vision software. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Avania, a, global medical technology CRO, and a portfolio company of Kester Capital, has acquired IMARC, a medical device CRO providing services throughout the United States.  IMARC brings more than two decades of full-service clinical research oversight to its clients, including monitoring, auditing, safety, data management and training.
