Terraformation, a global forest restoration company, has held the first closing of USD30 million in funding to support its mission to help solve climate change by restoring thriving ecosystems to capture carbon across billions of acres of degraded land.
The round was led by Sam & Max Altman at Apollo Projects, and included several high-profile institutional investors and nearly 100 angel investors, such as Sundeep Ahuja, Lachy Groom, Sahil Lavingia, Joe Lonsdale, Susan Wu, and OVN Cap.
The funding will be used to accelerate global forest restoration projects, support R&D, and expand hiring.

Scalable Capital, a fast growing neo-broker and one of Europe’s largest digital wealth managers, has raised more than USD180 million (EUR150 million) in a Series E funding round led by by China’s leading technology company Tencent.

Curam, a UK-wide carer platform that has set out to use technology to positively disrupt the UK’s GBP38 billion social care sector, has launched of its Series A round of fundraising.
Since its launch in 2018, Curam has raised GBP3.6 million from high net worth and angel investors, and has rolled out its Curamcare platform and app across all the UK’s 124 postcode areas. The software behind the platform and app was designed and developed in-house in order to suit precisely the needs of care workers and their clients. Singapore-based fintech BondEvalue has raised USD6 million in its Series A round of fund raising, with MassMutual Ventures Southeast Asia and Citigroup among the new investors. Both institutions are expected to be represented on the board.
The latest round brings the total raised by the company to USD10 million and affirms investor confidence as its digital exchange for trading fractionalised bonds continues to gain momentum.
Other investors included existing shareholders Potato Productions, a company helmed by entrepreneur Lee Han Shih, and Octava, a Singapore-based family office.

VTB Capital has entered the growing Russian carsharing market, acquiring a USD75 million minority equity stake in Delimobil Holding , which controls the Russian entities owning the Delimobil, Anytime and Anytime.Prime brands.
The funds raised in this transaction by Delimobil Holding will be used by Delimobil for further development and to strengthen the Group’s position in the Russian carsharing market.

Overhaul, the industry’s first and only software-based, supply-chain visibility, integrity, and security solution for the world’s leading brands, announced its USD35 million Series B funding today. The current round is led by Macquarie Capital, with participation from Edison Partners and Avanta Ventures (venture arm of CSAA Insurance Group). Greenleaf Power Consolidated LLC (Greenleaf), backed by Denham Capital, has secured USD36.7 million in project financing from East West Bank through its wholly-owned subsidiary Greenleaf Biomass Holdings LLC. This transaction marks one of the largest biomass power project financings in recent North American history.
