Thoma Bravo, a private equity investment firm focused on the software and technology-enabled services sector, has reached an agreement to acquire Greenphire, the global leader in financial lifecycle management software for clinical trials, from The Riverside Company. The deal, which is subject to customary regulatory approvals, is expected to close in the second quarter of this year. Jim Murphy, CEO of Greenphire, will continue to lead the company along with the existing management team in King of Prussia, PA. NextPhase Medical Devices LLC, a provider of electronic manufacturing services (EMS) and single-use disposable devices to leading medical device OEMs, has acquired Proven Process Medical Devices Inc.  Located in Mansfield, Massachusetts, Proven Process expands NextPhase’s expertise in R&D, engineering, design and manufacturing of FDA Class II and III therapeutic and diagnostic devices. Proven Process’ areas of expertise include implantables, hand-held devices, combination devices, wearable devices and electro-mechanical capital equipment. Dubin Clark, a private equity firm focused on building niche market leaders in the lower middle market, has sold portfolio company Sila Heating & Air (Sila) to funds affiliated with Morgan Stanley Capital Partners.  Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.  Sila is a specialist provider of HVAC replacement, service, maintenance, plumbing solutions, and water treatment. Mobeus has agreed to sell Ludlow Wealth Management, a North West-based financial advice business, to Mattioli Woods plc, for an enterprise value of GBP36.1 million, subject to regulatory approval and completion of a share placing by Mattioli Woods.  Mattioli Woods is an AIM-listed provider of advice on wealth management and employee benefits that is acquiring Ludlow as part of its ambitious growth plans within the wealth management sector.
